You are more

than my poetic

inspiration. 

You are the 

heart within 

these bones.

Pieces that

bring life to 

my soul.

My affection 

for you courses 

through my veins.

In the arms 

that wrap 

around you.

In the lips 

that long 

to kiss you.

In the eyes 

that take in 

your beauty.

In these feet 

that walk with 

you each day.

These things 

are more than 

words on a page.

They are my 

poem. You.
