Here I Lay

It runs deep.
It's in my
bones and
the core of
my being.
It's on my
face. It's
in my hugs.
Yet, I remain
in silence.
I want to be
at her side
as she moves
through life, to
hold her hand.
I wait to
hear her
voice and
see her eyes
once again.
She's trapped
in my head
and my heart.
She has to
know this.
But here I
lay with my
love for her
unspoken.
Yet, undenied.
